Easy Gluten-Free Paleo Granola

Learn how to make quick, easy, healthy, gluten-free, paleo granola cereal! Why buy expensive brands in a box when the DIY version is a fraction of the cost? Recipe is listed below.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Dry ingredients:

  • 2 cups slivered almonds
  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Wet ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Other:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Bake sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • 300 degree oven

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil. Remove and let cool slightly. Then add honey and vanilla.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Place parchment paper on bake sheet.
  5. Spread mixture evenly onto parchment-lined bake sheet.
  6. Bake in 300-degree oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown (note: stir after 15 minutes).
  7. Remove from oven and let cool.
  8. Serve in a bowl with milk!
