Try these easy, sweet and spicy maple chili pepitas (pumpkin seeds). A healthy and delicious snack or appetizer. Fantastic compliment to a cold, tall brew. Below are the simple directions.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups raw pepitas
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 300-degrees (F). Line bake sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Spread mixture in a single layer on parchment-lined bake sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. Seeds should be golden and crunchy.
